UIU Cover Page Generator
A small document-preparation tool that turns student and course details into an assignment cover page, with preview, PDF export, and optional assignment-file merging.
The Problem
Preparing a consistent cover page and attaching it to an assignment is repetitive, especially when the final submission needs to be a single PDF.
The Solution
Collect the cover information in a form, render a preview, and export an A4 cover PDF. Optionally prepend it to an uploaded assignment PDF so the student can download one submission file.
System Architecture
React and TypeScript manage the form and preview. html2canvas renders the cover at a fixed A4 layout, jsPDF creates the cover PDF, and pdf-lib combines it with assignment pages in the browser. Mammoth supports a Word-import conversion path, whose layout fidelity depends on the document.
